Canada’s Got Talent

Yes, I know this sounds a bit farfetch’d, but there is major talent in Canada (you know that huge mass of land above the US?). Well, the talent is atleast from Canada. Rad Hourani and Erdem Moralioglu are two Montreal-raised designers who exchanged their dollars for Euros to harness their creative energy and pursue their dreams.

Rad Hourani, 25, departed to Paris from Montreal to continue his career in styling and start his own line called Rad Hourani. Debuting his S/S08 in Paris, Rad has truly made quite an impact in the fashion world with his edgy, dark, adrogynous, asexual, aseasonal vibe. Maybe he’ll be showing a collection in London soon?…

Erdem Moralioglu, 31,  chose London as home base for his line simply named Erdem. Ryserson university fashion graduate, intern at Vivienne Westwood (not jealous at all), Master class professor at the Royal College of Art, winner of the pretigious British Fashion Council award; Moralioglu has and is continuing to “wow” the industry with his uber-feminine, dreamy, romantic, “straight-up beautiful” clothes. Can’t wait to see F/W09.
