Every Louis Vuitton collection, initially, takes time to digest as it exits the catwalk (exception: FW10). The campaign(s) always manage to successfully translate the experimental looks into pure, retail gold. The swoop over one eye makes all the difference. I almost mistook Freja for Magdalena.

CALENDULA

Google it. This is one of the reasons I take pride in being an October baby! Aussie newcomer Codie Young graces the cover of Vogue Australia‘s October issue. Donning a coveted Miu Miu F/W10 frock and surrounded by gorgeous, complementing, fresh flowers, the result is breath-taking. Miu Miu has managed to rival, in terms of editorial press, the retro-themed collections (i.e Louis Vuitton, Prada, Giles, etc.) with their youthful and  more modern vision for Fall (click here).

ROSE X VOGUE PARIS

On February 28th, 2009, I wrote a post about Rose Corderos amateur debut in the Burberry Prorsum F/W09 runway show (click here to see post). To be blunt, at the time, I figured she’d just be another girl who couldn’t/wouldn’t live up to all her hype (remember those polaroids?). Rose, I’m sorry for doubting you. Filling up the page with visage seulement, Rose graces the March 2010 cover (in Vuitton to add) of Vogue Paris. Black girl + landing the cover of French Vogue = you’ve made it girl.

Ugh, I won’t even be able to get my hands on it til April. If you have a heart, please, fedex a copy a.s.a.p. [K]
